Installing on your Mac
- 1Download Resetly-1.0.dmg and open it, then drag Resetly into your Applications folder.
- 2Open Resetly from Applications. On first launch macOS asks for Automation permission so Resetly can hide distracting apps — click OK.
- 3To block websites, Resetly asks for your administrator password once, so it can update the system hosts file. This is expected and stays on your Mac.
Not on the Mac App Store — Resetly needs deep system access to block apps and websites, which the
Mac App Store sandbox does not allow. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it is safe to download and open.
